The development is on the outskirts of Heanor, Derbyshire, a market town once famous for its coal and lace production and now a thriving town providing an ideal location to raise a family. Heanor is within easy reach of Nottingham and Derby, with their many shopping and entertainment facilities.

Park Grange was formerly a large estate where the development is located. Built by the Fletcher family, who were well-known locally as lace manufacturers.
